The challenge

“You need six five-aside pitches by when? No problem”

Pitreavie FC were embarking on a huge redevelopment of their entire facilities to:

• Improve the services at the club.
• Increase the length of playing and training times.
• Make sure the lighting of the club overall was best-in-class.

This was split into two phases – the first of which was the delivery of six five-a-side football pitches. The only issue was they needed them up, running and with perfect lighting within three weeks of placing their order. So, they came to us and we said, ‘No problem’.

Our solution

This wasn’t going to be the easiest project to complete. But we never take on a task unless we know we can achieve it. We’d rather say no than over-promise and underdeliver. So, as soon Pitreavie gave us the go-ahead our teams went straight into delivery mode. Working around the clock, we delivered the design solution in superfast time. And, as soon as that was approved, began the production and installation phases. The result? The project was delivered on time. But not just that. It was on brief and budget too. Because again, that’s what we do – always.

We’re already working on the second stage of Pitreavie’s redevelopment, the lighting for a new, full-sized artificial pitch. And this will be completed in July 2020.
